BUSINESS MANAGEMENT

Effective business management drives the work of others in order to efficiently run your business and make a profit. This is done in part by analyzing company performance and establishing clear strategies and goals.

Business managers are often the point of contact for other professional entities including the IRS, IL Dept. of Revenue, and the Secretary of State. They also often administer employee benefits plans, evaluate banking and insurance needs, and assist in creating and implementing company policies.

In small business, it is not uncommon for the business manager to share duties with the owner as the company grows.
